ReStore News
The Habitat for Humanity West Hawaii, Inc. ReStore is happy to report that through generous donations, customer purchases, and the hard work of our volunteers, we were able to raise over $20,000 for our most recently completed home build. Additionally, in 2008 the Habitat for Humanity West Hawaii ReStore was able to keep 500 tons out of our landfills; this is an average of 41 tons per month! Considering this information, and the fact that the Habitat for Humanity West Hawaii ReStore continues to sell home improvement products, furniture, appliances, and the like for 50-90% of the retail value, the ReStore is an ideal place to shop if you are building or renovating a home!
The Habitat for Humanity West Hawaii ReStore is fortunate to receive donations from various hotels and resorts, vendors, and individuals. Most recently, the ReStore was inundated with a generous donation of nails from City Mill. The ReStore has enough nails to satisfy the needs of any building project, and invites you to come by to browse our assortment of fasteners.
