ReStore FAQ

Q: Is there a limit as to how many items I may donate to your store?

A: No, there is no limit. Generally as long as we have the room, we will accept your donation(s).

Q: Do I get paid for my donation?

A: No, but your donation is tax-deductible.

Q: Is the ReStore open to the general public?

A: Yes. Anyone in the community may donate or shop at the ReStore.

Q: What if I can’t drop off my donation?

A: If your donation is too large or heavy to drop off, we will try to arrange a time to pick it up. Please do not drop off donations when the ReStore is closed. We do not have an after hours drop off location.

Q: Is my donation tax-deductible?

A: Yes, donations are tax deductible. We will give you a form before you leave the store for that purpose.

Q: What if I can’t find what I’m looking for?

A: Our inventory changes almost daily. If you can’t find it during one visit, check back in with us, we may receive a donation of just what you’re looking for at any time. While you're here, feel free to fill out our Customer Wish List and we'll call you if we receive the donation that you're looking for.

Q: How can I tell if you will accept my donation?

A: As long as your donation is clean, unbroken, with little or no flaws, we will probably accept it. Appliances must not be older than two years. We do reserve the right to refuse your donation, but we hope we won’t have to! If you would pay money for it and enjoy it in your home, we will probably be glad to have it!

Q: What if I am unable to make it to your ReStore because I work all week?

A: We are open every Saturday from 9am-4pm.
