The Blitz Home Builders are coming to Kona! 

Who are the Blitz Builders? 

This successful national initiative, which began in 2006, is a partnership between Habitat for Humanity and the building industry to build decent, safe, and affordable homes across the nation.  Each year, the Blitz Home Builders organization participates by sending up to 75 of their membership, from all over the country, to work side by side with local volunteers and committed sponsors.  The ultimate goal is to create ongoing partnerships with the building industry that will continue to benefit Habitat affiliates.

They will be partnering with Habitat for Humanity West Hawaii and the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands to build 5 homes in 10 days in La’i ‘Opua in Kona, September 12 through September 22, 2012, in celebration of Habitat’s 10^th Year Anniversary!
