We are recruiting volunteers for future Habitat builds in Kona, Kawaihae, and Ocean View which are projected for this year. All volunteers must be 16 years of age or older for construction. Habitat West Hawaii welcomes both skilled and unskilled volunteers in the following areas: carpentry, plumbing, electric, painting, etc. Volunteers are needed on various weekdays (skilled only) and Saturdays (skilled and unskilled) from 8am-3:00pm.
Volunteers are always needed to help with the many different facets of our projects. Some areas in which we would appreciate your help and expertise include: Family Selection, Family Support, Fundraising & Public Relations, Site Selection, Construction, ReStore Volunteer and Volunteer Management. Habitat for Humanity’s Global Village program gives volunteers the hands-on opportunity to help build simple, decent housing in communities around the world. Global Village volunteers experience another culture as they build houses and hope.
