Habitat for Humanity volunteer goes IRON for Habitat for Humanity West Hawaii’s BLITZ BUILD!

In September 2012, Habitat for Humanity West Hawai’i is hosting a Blitz Build in Kailua-Kona – we will be building five houses in ten days! Erin Stephens is currently serving a one year of commitment to national service with Habitat for Humanity West Hawaii and is hoping to raise funds and awareness for the Blitz Build byvolunteering her spare time and energy through participation in the Ironman 70.3.  On Race Day -June 2nd, 2012- Erin will start the 1.2 mile swim in the Pacific Ocean, ride 56 miles on the legendary Queen Ka’ahumanu Highway through the lava fields, and finish with a 13.1 mile run.
